DAEP

  • The Disciplinary Alternative Education Program is a placement program for students who violate the Student Code of Conduct.

  • 8:00 AM – 3:20 PM; Monday - Friday

  • Serves Carthage ISD, Beckville ISD, and Gary ISD

Credit Recovery

  • The program is designed to help students at risk of dropping out of school to recover lost credits and finish their graduation requirements, hopefully in time to graduate with their class.

  • After school credit recovery program meets at the Carthage High School campus.

  • 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM; Monday - Thursday

  • Serves Carthage ISD only

RISE

  • The program is designed for at-risk students enrolled in Carthage High School seeking a diploma instead of a GED.

  • 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM Monday – Friday

  • Application and committee process must begin at the CHS counselor's office for qualified students

  • Serves Carthage ISD only

New Beginnings

  • The program is designed for pregnant students who would like to leave the regular classroom setting. Students must be enrolled in the program prior to delivery. During the postpartum period, students will receive CEHI from a certified teacher.

  • 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM; Monday – Friday

  • Serves Carthage ISD, Beckville ISD, Gary ISD

Homebound

  • The program provides students with services in the home or hospital bedside.

  • Serves Carthage ISD only
